226. Similan Islands, Thailand
Thailand has way more than it’s fair share of island paradises, it’s really unfair. Just look at the images - it’s breathtaking. Great beaches, turquoise water and some of the best SCUBA in the world. A lot of people come here exclusivly to SCUBA dive but it can be a great romantic spot for non-divers (like myself) as well. There are bungalows on at least one of the islands, there are other islands where you can rent tents to sleep in. What more do you need, Thai food, cocktails, tropical climate, stunning beachs, world-class aquatic life. You can’t go wrong here.
191. Capella Pedregal Resort, Cabo Mexico
Cabo San Lucas, is a picturesque town in Mexico. The town itself is set within a gorgeous landscape of ocean, mountains, and fantasticl landforms. This is a place of deep sea fishing, whale watching, snorkeling, dune-buggy-ing… pretty much any vacation activity you can think of. We stayed at and insanely luxurious resort called Capella Pedregal. This place is breathtaking with fantastic views, beautiful plantings and sand-scaping. Some of the most fabulous seafood on Earth and cocktails that taste like candy. On top of this there is also a world class spa here. This is a spot of honeymoons and destination weddings - as well as lounging at the pool sipping margaritas and eating ceviche. What more do you need for romance?
