*Whistler Canada is a mountain that some people call Blackcomb because it’s neighboring mountain. Its a ski resort but there is also a little town that has many different restaurants and shops as well as nearby hiking. Its really romantic cause there is soooo much snow and its always nice to go out on the deck with your loved one with a blanket and sit there with each other snuggling and such.
*post not numbered as we have already featured Whistler - but we like repeats*
We came to Cameron Highlands merely to escape the hot temperatures of the lowlands (this region of Malaysia has wonderfully cool nights) only to find it completely beautiful. Set amongst rolling hills, the Cameron Highlands are great for a romantic getaway. You can hike in the stunning area, visit the boh tea plantation, pick strawberries… there are waterfalls and forests and a great little town to explore - what more do you need?

Think skiing, snowboarding, bungee jumping, hiking, mountain biking… not so romantic. But then imagine the base of all these ‘extreme’ activities being a quaint little town sitting on picturesque Lake Wakatipu with a range of snow-capped mountains as the backdrop - a little more romantic? Great cafes and restaurants and breathtaking views make this spot amazing to have fun and fall in love. I felt like every direction I looked in in Queenstown was more beautiful than the last. Spend the day getting your adrenaline pumping or tramping through the fabulous wilderness and spend the night sipping wine next to a roaring fire. This is a really special place.

Toco beach, located in Trinidad is one of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever seen. This place exudes romanticism and pure bliss. With its coral reef sitting a few feet out, overlooking the beach, swimming out with your lover is the perfect opportunity for an intimate moment. Living in Trindad was one of the greatest things I’ve ever done. I would definitely recommend this place as the perfect get away…sweet escape.
Curl up like kings and queens together in castles and palaces, gaze out across the stupendous Spanish countryside. The luxuriously renovated Paradores from Galicia to Catalonia, Andalusia and in the prettiest little villages. Sleep in history in knights’ residences, 16th century monasteries and marbled towers. Look out across bays and seas, endless green countryside and gushing rivers. Enjoy the very best gazpacho and local meats and vegetables, sip on the tastiest wine and be part of the romance of thousands of years.

Nobody does romance like the Italians, and Florence is no exception! As the largest city in Tuscany, Florence was the birthplace of The Renaissance and now serves as the ‘art capital’ of Italy. Florence is romance around the clock: morning cappuccinos on the balcony, afternoon picnics along the Arno River, museums featuring art of the great Renaissance masters, jewelry shopping on Ponte Vecchio, long walks at dusk holding hands and drinking wine, and fireworks at Piazzale Michelangelo. Highly recommended!

Murchison is one of Uganda’s most important natural and animal reservations. You can take a photo safari where you will see some of Africa´s most beautiful animals including: Hippos, giraffes, elephants, alligators, lions, leopards, etc…the best part is you will see them in their natural habitat, and up close; if you’re lucky and go during spring you will get to see all the baby animals as well. Probably the most romantic and impressive thing to do is take a boat along the nile. You will also see all the wildlife, however the highlight of the ride are the falls. Murchison falls are the most powerful waterfalls in the world (during rainy season) where the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, from 100 mts to only 7 metres (23 ft) wide. The boat ride is really romantic, and the views astonishing. The lodges in the area range from luxurious hotels to romantic chalets and safari lodges/tents. Definately a place to visit.

As the most populous and largest city in the state, Honolulu is rife with restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife. However, that doesn’t mean it is without the tranquil beauty that has made the name Hawaii synonymous with paradise. Pristine beaches, hiking trails through lush rain forests, and championship Golf courses also abound.
After spending your days exploring the beauty of the beaches and mountains, spend your evenings dining and / or strolling down Waikiki beach. As you end your day watching the beautiful hula dancing and listening to the live Hawaiian music amidst the flames from the tiki torches (lit each night by a pareau-clad runner), you’ll definitely fall in love with Hawaii Nei.

Manila Bay is considered to be one of the best natural harbors in Southeast Asia. The sunset from the bay is truly breathtaking. There’s a wall on the side of the bay where couples and friends can climb on and sit to watch the sunset and enjoy the breeze.
As if that isn’t enough reason to visit, there are also open air cafes and benches along Roxas Boulevard. Roxas Boulevard serves as Manila’s main promenade. This place is ideal to curb your hunger or just while the time away and people watch. The best thing is that the famous Manila sunset is visible wherever you choose to sit.
