This town 20 Kms away from Portugal’s capital city, Lisboa, is definitely a must see. It is a very picturesque, cozy place with a romantic feel. Located on a small mountain called Serra de Sintra, it is a place that allows visitors to be with nature and hike through the frondous trees. It is also a place of luxury filled with palaces from the Romantic period (19th century), which were the homes of former royal residences. To finish a soothing afternoon, the local bakery is delicious. Nearby there are also many beautiful beaches to enjoy the great Portuguese summer with the one you love.
