This place is quite the place to be. Not so commercialized but it gives people a heap of life. The beach is calm. It is one of a kind. White sand beaches may be overrated for most of us but Bantayan Island is the place to be. It is not really spendy when you go here cause particularly, Cebu City is not really an expensive type of place. Unlike other places.
Most hotels are near to empty since most people has not yet discovered this scenic place. Unlike Boracay wherein hotels don’t run out of people. People are very friendly.
If a glimpse of nature is what you want, Banatayan Island is what you should get ;)

For 4 days, I get the chance to explore this undeveloped and irresistable place. Zambales province offers long, straight sections of undeveloped beach against a backdrop of rugged mountains. From the rest house where my friends and I were staying, I watched the sky as it changes from its magnificent glory during the day til to its silent, solemnity at twilight. You don’t have to be out-of-the-way just to have Mother Nature at your hands. The quiet fishing village has a good beach at its own right. It may look less appealing when the sun goes down but an exciting adventurous event to look forward to in the morrow.

Palawan, Philippines** white sandy beaches, clear blue skies, turquoise waters, islands, the fascinating wildlife, tall, beautiful green mountains, and at night, a starry heaven. These are the things fairytale romances are made of - Palawan is a truly beautiful, unspoiled, magical paradise.
** post not numbered because Palawan has been mentioned before. But look at this place, it’s so beautiful, how could we not give it another shout out.

Manila Bay is considered to be one of the best natural harbors in Southeast Asia. The sunset from the bay is truly breathtaking. There’s a wall on the side of the bay where couples and friends can climb on and sit to watch the sunset and enjoy the breeze.
As if that isn’t enough reason to visit, there are also open air cafes and benches along Roxas Boulevard. Roxas Boulevard serves as Manila’s main promenade. This place is ideal to curb your hunger or just while the time away and people watch. The best thing is that the famous Manila sunset is visible wherever you choose to sit.

Amanpulo, Palawan, Philippines: A private island in the midst of sparkling blue waters, with velvet white sands. Where stars shine like diamonds in the night sky. It’s one of the most romantic places we’ve been to because of the total peace and tranquility. Spending time away from the hustle and bustle of the city with your loved one in nature is priceless.

Dubbed “Old Manila”, Intramuros is one of the few places in the Philippines that still retains the architecture from the Spanish colonization era. In Latin, Intramuros means “within the walls”. True to its name, Intramuros is surrounded by high brick walls and moats.
Take a walk through the city (and on the walls itself!) to soak up the country’s history and culture. Most of the buildings and estblishments have retained their 16th century look, and even the recent restaurants are designed to fit in with the 16th century theme. Another option is to go through the city on a kalesa (a horse-driven carriage) commonly used by the Spaniards in the 18th century.
Be sure to drop by the San Agustin Church, completed in 1607, making it the oldest church in the Philippines. The San Agustin Church has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and has been named by the Philippine Government as a National Historical Landmark. This church is one of the most popular venues for weddings.
Intramuros itself has a wholly romantic feel—it’s as if you’ve been transported to another time. Whether it’s because of the horse drawn carriages, the infrastructure, this scenic, historical city is alive with romantic spirit.

One word that describes this small town in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, “breathtaking”, Pagudpud is rich with beautiful beaches and lush, green mountains. Not a lot of people have the patience to explore the northern part of the Philippines because it is difficult to get to - almost 10-12 hours by land travel from Manila. Air travel is available but there is an additional 2 hrs of travel from the airport to Pagudpud. If you would like to experience adventure and nature-tripping at its best, then visiting Pagudpud ”is a great destination.”
Aside from the number of resorts and beautiful beaches that this place offers, you can also see Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, Kapurpurawan (a white carved sailboat) and the 25 Windmills in Bangui that generate electricity for the villagers. Everytime I come here, a feeling of excitement boils up within me. The serenity of this place is perfect for a romantic escapade. This is truly it is one awesome place to visit.
