Bold modern design and warm Mediterranean light filtering through shutters and casting long shapes across beautiful flooring. Traditional Spain meets the contemporary design world in exemplary fashion in the varied, exciting and chic fabulous Barcelona hotels across the city. True romance unfolds between crisp white sheets, surrounded by immaculate furnishings, or over a café con leche breakfast on a panoramic terrace. If you prefer your fairytale in classic, opulent places, there are extravagant hotels aplenty. Embellished walls with golden furnishings and antique furniture recreate a royal world in a city of passion and contradiction.
Cabo San Lucas, is a picturesque town in Mexico. The town itself is set within a gorgeous landscape of ocean, mountains, and fantasticl landforms. This is a place of deep sea fishing, whale watching, snorkeling, dune-buggy-ing… pretty much any vacation activity you can think of. We stayed at and insanely luxurious resort called Capella Pedregal. This place is breathtaking with fantastic views, beautiful plantings and sand-scaping. Some of the most fabulous seafood on Earth and cocktails that taste like candy. On top of this there is also a world class spa here. This is a spot of honeymoons and destination weddings - as well as lounging at the pool sipping margaritas and eating ceviche. What more do you need for romance?

You don’t have to be a couple to enjoy the Green Turtle but when I was there, all I could think of was coming back with a significant other. Completely eco-friendly, the lodge uses candle lanterns at night and the stars can be seen for miles and miles.
During the right season, you can see baby green turtles crawling back towards the ocean and a beautiful walk down the beach leads you to a really interesting fishing village where you can get a drink of the homemade gin for free and just hang out with some locals for awhile.
The lodge even has a romantic history. A young English couple with a passion for travel and Africa fell in love with the Ghanaian coast line and decided to open their own guest house there. In fact, a few people have loved it so much that they chose to have their wedding there!

Waking up every morning to the relaxing drum of the waves crashing on the beach was a tourist’s dream. This small, quiet beach town offered the peace and quiet that my family and I were looking for. Every night the sun was a bright orange as it set itself into the night. And every night, the stars shined so bright, illuminating the ocean. A couples’ paradise.

Vieques is a very quiet island off the coast of Puerto Rico. Although it’s hot, the clear water surrounds you everywhere you go. The only way to get around the island is by taxi and driving through the back roads, wild horses can be seen everywhere and anywhere. This is a place made for romance… white sands, blue skies, tropical cocktails, Bio-luminescent Bays and spectacular weather - what more do you need?

Amanpulo, Palawan, Philippines: A private island in the midst of sparkling blue waters, with velvet white sands. Where stars shine like diamonds in the night sky. It’s one of the most romantic places we’ve been to because of the total peace and tranquility. Spending time away from the hustle and bustle of the city with your loved one in nature is priceless.
Let me paint the scene… you hop on the back of a pickup truck and head up into the deep jungles outside of Quetzaltenango. The air is cool and the jungle thick and wet. Nearing the top of the mountain you will find volcanic hot springs in a nook on the mountain. Steamy air, hot pools of water, thick fog, streaks of sunlight, stunning surroundings… this place is magical. Pack a picnic lunch - there’s a little restaurant up there but it’s nothing to write home about.
