228. Seychelles

This place is more beautiful than even these pictures begin to show.  What a fascinating place of island hopping, jungle hiking and bird watching.  You will find world-class diving here, fabulous food and the perfect romantic setting for lazing on the beach, playing in the water and watching the sun rise and set.  Seriously, does it get any more perfect than this.  The beaches here are more beautiful than I’ve seen before - they also have these unusual beautiful smooth rocks making for almost an alien atmosphere.  wow, just wow.

199. Ship Channel Cay, Exumas - Bahamas

SUBMITTED BY: http://rnstr.tumblr.com/

I took my girlfriend to the Bahamas last year for her birthday.  It was amazing.  One of the days that we were there I took her on a day trip to Ship Channel Cay in the Exumas.

On the tour they take you by speed boat to the Island.  There’s nothing on the Island except a shack with a bar in it and the most amazing beach you will ever see.  We spent the day snorkelling around reef tip sharks and sting rays, lying in the sun, drinking rum punch and eaten freshly caught bbq fish.

It was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had, with the love of my life.

20. Island of Bali: Ubud, Indonesia

What can one say about Bali that hasn’t already been said…  Everything smells good in this place - small streams of smoke from the tips of incense sticks crawl up every wall in this island.  Ubud, located inland Bali is wonderfully romantic.  Lush dense jungle, wildlife, and monkeys coupled with criminally beautiful rice terraces, traditional music and dancing are just some of the great things that can be found here.  Everywhere you turn in Ubud you will find a little offering to the gods, a mixture of banana leaves, flowers and incense (probably other things I’m not aware of).  This place feels so lush, so green - steeped in tradition and ritual - a great romantic destination.
