The strip of beach has an incredible view of the sunsets, each night just as beautiful as the one before. People surf and paddle board until the sun dips below the horizon as tourists gather along the surf to watch. All I really remember is the silence that was interrupted the odd time by the crashing waves. If you’re lucky, it’s also a great place to catch a glimpse of whales silhouetted against the orange sky.

As the most populous and largest city in the state, Honolulu is rife with restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife. However, that doesn’t mean it is without the tranquil beauty that has made the name Hawaii synonymous with paradise. Pristine beaches, hiking trails through lush rain forests, and championship Golf courses also abound.
After spending your days exploring the beauty of the beaches and mountains, spend your evenings dining and / or strolling down Waikiki beach. As you end your day watching the beautiful hula dancing and listening to the live Hawaiian music amidst the flames from the tiki torches (lit each night by a pareau-clad runner), you’ll definitely fall in love with Hawaii Nei.

Lahaina on Maui in Hawaii is very pretty and romantic. Of course there are the beaches and whatnot, but in the little town there is a place called Front Street. It is pretty touristy, but very quaint. There are restuarants, shopping, local goods ect. Also there are a bunch of historical sites and this huge Bayan tree in the middle of the town. I liked Lahaina because it was a small town and you really got to see what life was like in Hawaii. It was like time moved slower there. One thing you have to do if you go is go whale watching. It is so amazing to watch the humpback whales leap out of the water against a beautiful sunset.
Lahaina has lots of ziplining adventures, snorkling, and diving trips that are awesome. There are also really great resorts, like the Westin Maui which are right down the road from the town of Lahaina and they have a shuttle that runs from the hotels to Lahaina all day, it is very convenient. If you are looking for a romantic place to eat while in Lahaina you have to go to Gerard’s. It is a French restaurant, and is so delicious. It is located just off Front Street in an old plantation style bed and breakfast.

Kauai is such a beautiful place, its a small island with hundreds of things to do. You can go snorkeling or scuba diving in some of the most gorgeous reefs on the planet. Or go hiking through jungle, along the coastline, or within Waimea Canyon (the largest canyon in the pacific). There are many local restaurants and coffee shops in Kauai, some have live bands perfoming at night. The islands are a place of jumping off waterfalls, exploring water caves, or simply relaxing on the warm beaches. How can you beat this for romance?
