What’s more romantic than an ancient city surrounded by a moat?  Chiang Mai, in Northern Thailand is a crazy fun, romantic destination.  Walk the streets and observe daily life, get a famous Thai massage, visit the nearby temple (wat doi suthep) or waterfall (Mae Sa).  Grab your partners hand and wander the night market together, sample the exquisite cuisine.  This is a great city with a lot to do, including falling in love.
