33. Dead Sea, Israel (and Jordan)

Being at the dead sea is like being on a different planet.  First off it’s pretty mind-blowing to think you’re at the lowest point on Earth surrounded by such a martian landscape.  Provided you’ve got no major cuts on your body, you and your significant other can float in the extremely salty waters and then get out and put the dead sea mud all over your bodies (supposedly great for your skin). - watch the sun set.  Build a campfire on the beach - take in the amazing landscape around you… sigh.
